Those who enter as Freshman
Too stupid for UCSD
Too rich for Community College
Looking to party
Drop out within 2 years to start a family
or pick up more hours at Dad's auto shop

Then enter the transfer students
Done with Community College
Too poor for UCSD
Coming after 2 years
to grudgingly finish their degree

Natural segregation at it's finest.
